Eight Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP partners were selected for the 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers guide: Dory P. Antullis, Aelish Marie Baig, Desiree Cummings, Stuart A. Davidson, Mark J. Dearman, Kathleen B. Douglas, Paul J. Geller, and Rachel L. Jensen. These partners have litigated some of the most impactful cases in the country on behalf of plaintiffs injured by corporate fraud.

For the past several years, Robbins Geller attorneys led by Geller have played key roles in litigation to hold the facilitators of the opioid crisis responsible. The team, which included Antullis, Baig, Dearman, and Geller, achieved a settlement of nearly $230 million for San Francisco following a bellwether trial and combined settlements of more than $50 billion nationally from multiple pharmaceutical companies who were defendants in the national litigation.

Geller and Davidson, along with co-counsel, secured a recovery of $609 million for overcharged purchasers of the “EpiPen” device in a nationwide class action alleging that the manufacturer and marketer of the EpiPen engaged in anti-competitive and unfair business conduct in their sale and marketing of the auto-injector device.

Baig served on the leadership committee for plaintiffs and Douglas served on the Robbins Geller litigation team in the e-cigarette youth vaping predatory advertising, fraud, addiction, and injury multi-district litigation. Last year, the team secured final approval of a $255 million class action settlement with JUUL Labs, Inc. The settlement with JUUL is part of a series of settlements on behalf of class, personal injury, and subdivision plaintiffs with cases in the multi-district litigation.

Cummings represents consumers and serves on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in In re Blackbaud Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litig., a data breach multi-district litigation pending in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Jensen recently served as co-lead trial counsel in a qui tam case against a bus manufacturer to enforce a “good jobs” U.S. employment plan in a $500 million procurement contract with LA Metro. The settlement included a historic multi-state community benefits agreement with workforce development programs, fair hiring, and equity measures in Ontario, California and Anniston, Alabama.
