Sabrina Tirabassi is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s Boca Raton office, where she focuses her practice on lead plaintiff motions. She is currently involved in the investigation and drafting of complaints alleging violations of the Exchange Act (Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) and Securities Act (TCP International Holdings, Inc.) on behalf of investors who suffered damages as a result of those companies’ false and misleading statements to the market. She spent several years litigating ERISA and breach of contract actions on behalf of institutional investors who suffered damages as a result of their investments in Lehman Brothers notes through their participation in BNY Mellon and JPMorgan securities lending programs.
Tirabassi is admitted to practice before all of Florida’s state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Prior to joining the Firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Gary M. Farmer of Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. Tirabassi is fluent in both French and Spanish and has been recognized for her legal work by Florida’s Super Lawyers Magazine by being named a “Rising Star” for a total of five years.
Tirabassi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Florida. As a sophomore, she studied French Literature at the University of Paris – Sorbonne and was awarded the Certificât Pratique de la Langue Française. With close family ties to Argentina, Tirabassi also attended school in Buenos Aires. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Tirabassi served as the Executive Editor of the Nova Law Review and was active in Moot Court.
