ISS: Robbins Geller Is the Nation’s Top Plaintiff’s Firm
Recovering $1.9 Billion for Investors in 2021
The SCAS Top 50 ranks the top 50 plaintiff’s law firms, evaluating both by the dollar value of final recoveries in which the law firm served as lead counsel and the number of settlements achieved.
Robbins Geller was named the top plaintiff’s firm again in 2021 and topped both rankings. The Firm recovered nearly $1.9 billion for investors in 2021 – more than three times the amount as the next-ranked firm and more than the next eight law firms on the list combined. The Firm also topped the rankings of total number of settlements achieved in 2021.
“We have the honor of representing bold, determined clients who have shown tremendous leadership, and you can see their leadership reflected in these results,” said Darren J. Robbins, a partner at the Firm. “We have a committed team of trial lawyers here who truly believe in our clients, and that combination uniquely positions us to continue achieving results like those we achieved in 2020 and 2021,” he added.
Through 2021, the Firm recovered more than any other law firm in five of the last eight years. The Firm currently serves as class counsel in In re Twitter Inc. Securities Litigation, obtaining an $809.5 million settlement in late 2021 on the eve of trial. The settlement remains subject to court approval and is not reflected in this year’s SCAS Top 50 report.
With 200 lawyers in 9 offices, Robbins Geller has obtained many of the largest securities, antitrust, and consumer class action recoveries in history. Since 2015 as sole lead counsel, the Firm has recovered $7.7 billion for investors and consumers harmed by corporate abuse. The Firm secured the largest-ever securities fraud class action settlement — $7.2 billion — in In re Enron Corp. Securities Litigation.
