RGRD attorneys prevail against Regions Financial Corp. in 11th Circuit decision finding that district court properly certified securities class action

In a decision issued on August 6, 2014, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the district court’s decision to certify a class action based upon alleged misrepresentations about Regions Financial Corp.’s financial health before and during the recent economic recession.  In addition, because of the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Halliburton Co. v. Erica P. John Fund, Inc. (Halliburton II), the Court vacated and remanded to allow consideration of evidence of price impact.
