Juan Carlos Sanchez is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s San Diego office, where his practice focuses on complex securities litigation. Notable cases include In re Community Health Sys., Inc. S’holder Derivative Litig. ($60 million financial relief and unprecedented corporate governance reforms).
Prior to joining Robbins Geller, Sanchez served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nelva Gonzales Ramos of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and was a summer associate with the Firm in 2013.
Sanchez earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis and is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). While in law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and interned with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C. Sanchez was also Student Director of the East Bay Workers’ Rights Clinic, Articles Editor for the Berkeley La Raza Law Journal, and a recipient of the Honorable Cruz Reynoso Social Justice Fellowship.
