Overview
Shao-Jia Chang is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd’s San Francisco office, where her practice focuses on complex securities fraud litigation.
Shao earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Legal Studies and Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and received her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. While in law school, Shao served as the Lead Supervising Editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation, the External Vice President for the Mock Trial Association, and a Teaching Fellow for the Negotiation Workshop. Shao earned Dean’s Scholar prizes in Corporations and International Law of the Sea. Her passion for public service led her to participate in the Harvard Election Law Clinic and the Veterans Law and Disability Benefits Clinic. Shao also served as President of the Harvard Women’s Law Association, where she worked to create communities supporting women in the legal field.
Prior to joining the Firm, Shao was a clerk for The Honorable Eumi K. Lee in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and The Honorable Michelle M. Pettit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
