Overview

Deji Adeniyi is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s Nashville office, where he focuses his practice on representing institutional and individual investors in merger-related class action litigation and in complex securities litigation.

Prior to joining Robbins Geller, he handled commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts involving business torts, contract disputes, corporate and shareholder conflicts, class actions, M&A litigation, and creditors’ rights, securing favorable outcomes for clients both independently and as part of a litigation team. That pretrial and trial experience now informs his work helping investors uncover wrongful conduct and recover the money and other remedies to which they are rightfully entitled.

Deji was named by the Daily Report a Finalist for the Most Promising Newcomer category for the 2026 Southeastern Legal Awards, and he was inducted into the Order of Barristers in 2024. He is an editor at the Nashville Bar Journal and an active member of the Nashville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division.

He earned his J.D. at The University of Tennessee Winston College of Law (“UT”) in 2024, where he served as an articles editor on the Tennessee Law Review and as Parliamentarian for his school’s BLSA chapter, and was also actively involved in moot court and transactional competitions representing UT in a number of competitions. Deji earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and his Certificate of Call to Bar from the Nigerian Law School. He is licensed in Tennessee, Texas, and Nigeria.
