Overview

Alex Kaplan is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s Boca Raton office, where his practice focuses on securities fraud litigation and other complex matters.

Alex received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida State University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.

During law school, Alex served as a member of the Race and Social Justice Law Review, was the recipient of the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award, the CALI Award for top grade in Commercial Law: Secured Transactions, and the Dean’s Merit Full Tuition Scholarship. Alex was also a judicial intern for federal District Court Judge Ursula Ungaro as well as for federal Magistrate Judge William Matthewman.

Before joining the Firm, Alex worked as an associate at a downtown Fort Lauderdale law firm representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial litigation matters.
