Case Summary

Recently, Chrysler Group LLC issued additional recalls for several models suspected of having a faulty tie rod assembly that can fail without warning.  Our investigation of Chrysler’s recalls going back to 2009, reveals that the company has not properly addressed the defect and that they continue to place users at risk for catastrophic injury.  In fact, many owners and lessees have complained that the recalled components are not of sufficient quality or are not available at all. 

More than 1 million cars have been recalled so far. The affected vehicles include:

2003-2008 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 models;
2003-2008 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 models;
2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 models;
2008-2012 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 models;
2008-2012 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 models;
2008-2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Cab Chassis 4x2 models;
2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 models;
2008-2012 Dodge Ram 4500 4x4 models; and
2008-2012 Dodge Ram 5500 4x4 models

Robbins Geller has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of owners and lessees, current and former, against Chrysler and other potentially responsible parties.
