Kevin K. Green

Kevin Green is a partner in the Appellate Practice Group.

Kevin K. Green represents defrauded investors and consumers in the appellate courts. He is a member of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers and a Certified Appellate Specialist, State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Green received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors and distinction, from the University of California at Berkeley in 1989. He took his Juris Doctor degree from Notre Dame Law School, and was admitted to the California Bar, in 1995. Before entering practice, Mr. Green served as law clerk to the Honorable Theodore R. Boehm (Supreme Court of Indiana) and the Honorable Barry T. Moskowitz (now Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of California).

After briefing and arguing appeals and writs in jurisdictions across the country, Mr. Green was named a San Diego Super Lawyer (2008-present). Decisions in which he played a substantial role include: Lynch v. Beyond his diverse practice, Mr. Green is active in professional activities. At Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), he is Co-Chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee, which files briefs in the appellate courts on issues impacting consumers. Previously, Mr. Green sat on the State Bar Committee on Appellate Courts (2006-2009) and led the Appellate Court Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association (Chair, 2010; Vice Chair, 2009; and Chair, Civil Rules Subcommittee, 2007-2008). He now serves as Liaison between the local Appellate Court Committee and Federal Bar Association chapter. Other memberships:  California Supreme Court Historical Society; American Constitution Society; and Scribes (American Society of Legal Writers).

Mr. Green also participates in legal education programs. Past speaking engagements: CAOC 50th Annual Convention (November 2011, Appellate Practice Panel); State Bar of California 82nd Annual Meeting (September 2009, Moderator for "Preparing an Appellate Record: As Important as the Brief?"); and CAOC 47th Annual Convention (November 2008, Employment Litigation Panel).
