RGRD attorneys defeat defendants’ bid to escape certification in Best Buy securities class action
August 8, 2014
In an order issued on August 6, 2014, the District of Minnesota granted plaintiff’s motion for class certification in a securities class action against Best Buy Co., Inc. over defendants’ objections that there was no evidence of price impact, damages were not susceptible to class-wide proof, and the class was overbroad. In so holding, the Court determined that all of Rule 23’s requirements were met and appointed Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP as class counsel.
