Robbins Geller Partner Sam Rudman Receives Humanitarian Award
Last week, the UJA-Federation of New York honored Robbins Geller partner Samuel H. Rudman with the Humanitarian award at its Long Island Business and Professional Leaders “Connect and Celebrate” event held in New York. The UJA-Federation of New York is the world’s largest local philanthropy that raises funds to support the activities of more than 80 core partners and hundreds of other nonprofits that combat poverty, help the elderly age with dignity, promote Jewish identity and renewal, strengthen children and families, and open doors to those with disabilities and special needs.
As a former attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Rudman has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for shareholders. He has been recognized by numerous organizations in recent months. For example, Rudman was recently honored by the Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center for opening the Rudman Family Food Pantry, which supplies food and support for hundreds of families in need each year in the New York area. Rudman has also been nationally ranked a Leading Lawyer by Chambers USA and named a Leading Lawyer in America by Lawdragon. He has also been recognized as a Litigation Star and a Local Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation, a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500, and has been ranked as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine every year since 2007.
