June 1, 2011

Once again, Legal 500 named Robbins Geller as one of the top-tier plaintiffs’ securities firms in the nation. The publication commended Robbins Geller’s “significant practice” representing institutional investors while recovering tens of billions of dollars for defrauded shareholders and consumers.

Legal 500 commended Robbins Geller’s reputation for “its achievement in In re Enron Corp Securities Litigation,” the largest securities class action in history. Robbins Geller attorneys and lead plaintiff, The Regents of the University of California, aggressively pursued numerous defendants, including many of Wall Street’s biggest banks, and successfully obtained settlements in excess of $7.3 billion for the benefit of investors.  This is the largest aggregate class action settlement not only in a securities class action, but in class action history. The publication also recommended named partner Darren J. Robbins for his work in securities litigation.
