Eight Robbins Geller Attorneys Recognized as Florida Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for 2016
Year after year, several Robbins Geller attorneys are selected as Florida Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers Magazine, and this year is no different. Eight attorneys in Robbins Geller’s Boca Raton office have been selected as 2016 Florida Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.
Super Lawyers, an affiliate of Thomson Reuters, recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves for their high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in their legal practices. Each year, no more than 5% of lawyers are honored as Super Lawyers, and 2.5% are named as Rising Stars in each state. The annual selection is made through a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews within each practice area. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazine, as well as leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country. A full description of the methodology behind Super Lawyers’ selection process can be found on their website.
Paul Geller and Mark Dearman were both selected as Super Lawyers for 2016, making this Geller’s tenth consecutive year receiving the honor and Dearman’s third consecutive year. Geller has also received the AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available, and has twice been named one of the nation’s top “40 Under 40” by The National Law Journal. Additionally, Geller has been named one of “Florida’s Top Lawyers” by Law & Politics and South Florida Business Journal, one of the nation’s “Top 500 Lawyers” by Lawdragon, one of Florida’s “Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine, and one of “Florida’s Most Effective Lawyers” by American Law Media’s Daily Business Review. Dearman is also rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized in the top 1.5% of Florida Civil Trial Lawyers, as published in Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite.
The Robbins Geller attorneys selected to the 2016 Florida Rising Stars list include Robert Robbins, Elizabeth Shonson, Maureen Mueller, Kathleen Douglas, Sabrina Tirabassi and Jason Alperstein. While many of them have been honored with the title before, 2016 marks the first time Shonson has been named a Florida Rising Star.
