Position: Litigation Investigator
Location: Melville, New York

Salary Range: $120,000 - $125,000

Responsibilities & Duties
- Generating lists of potential witnesses by researching numerous databases for information
- Interviewing potential witnesses
- Writing relevant memorandums
- Conducting background searches on companies and individuals
- Conducting searches for assets, employment, court document retrieval, news articles, business profiles and history, SEC filings, financial statements, professional licenses, and other important information
- Conducting other computer and internet searches requested by attorneys
Qualifications
Education and Prior Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-5 years of relevant experience required
Technical Skills
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to produce written work product
- Proficiency in Internet research
- Comprehensive understanding of ethical responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven work ethic
- Punctual and dependable
- Excellent interpersonal etiquette
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a desk and in front of a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to be in the Melville New York office every weekday
