Jordan D. Mamorsky



Jordan Mamorsky is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s Melville office. His practice focuses on prosecuting complex securities class actions, ERISA/employee benefits lawsuits, and consumer class actions.

Most recently, Jordan was on the team of Robbins Geller attorneys who obtained a $34.5 million recovery in Patel v. L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc., which represents a high percentage of damages that plaintiffs could reasonably expect to be recovered at trial and is more than eight times higher than the average settlement of cases with comparable investor losses.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jordan worked as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor where he successfully prosecuted white collar defendants in cases involving fraud against the federal and state Medicaid program. Jordan was previously associated with a prominent Manhattan plaintiffs’ class action firm where his practice focused on securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors. 

Jordan an earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Vanderbilt University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University specializing in corporate governance. Jordan has served as a guest columnist for the publication Morningstar Advisor where his articles focused upon changes to fiduciary duty standards in the aftermath of Dodd-Frank.
