Christian Montelione is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s Boca Raton office and focuses his practice on investigating, bringing, and litigating to conclusion, in federal courts throughout the United States, complex securities fraud claims on behalf of investors, in class actions pursuant to the federal securities laws.
Previously, Christian was an associate at a well-respected litigation boutique in downtown Miami, where he represented companies and individuals, in all aspects, as plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex commercial matters in state and federal court, such as contract disputes, fraud, and business torts, and defended individuals against white-collar and blue-collar criminal prosecutions in federal court.
Prior to his law firm experience, Christian served as a law clerk to Judge Paul C. Huck of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Christian also held two judicial internships during law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, first with Judge Cecilia Altonaga of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and then with Judge Thomas Logue of the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida. While in law school, Christian competed on the Florida Moot Court Team, worked as a faculty research assistant, and served as a teaching assistant in legal writing, trial advocacy, and appellate advocacy courses. He also earned recognition for legal writing and community service.
Christian received his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Florida State University, with Philosophy and Psychology majors and the highest honors for successfully completing and defending a social psychology thesis. While at FSU, he also competed through the American Mock Trial Association, was an executive member of Phi Beta Kappa, and was selected as a Rhodes Scholarship finalist.
Christian and his partner are South Florida natives, have a miniature dachshund, and enjoy spending time with their families.
