Settlement with Defendants in Plumbers Union Local No. 12 Pension Fund v. Ambassadors Group, Inc.

The parties have reached a settlement of this action, pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, which provides for the payment of $7,500,000 for the benefit of eligible class members.  Plaintiff alleged that Defendants violated the federal securities laws by making false and misleading statements about Ambassadors’ 2008 marketing program, resulting in the artificial inflation of Ambassadors’ stock price and causing damage to class members.  The proposed settlement has been preliminarily approved by the Court.

The Court has scheduled a final approval hearing for November 30, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.  You are required to submit a claim form by no later than December 19, 2011 in order to participate in the settlement.
