Phong L. Tran
After graduating from the UCLA School of Law in 1999, Phong L. Tran began his legal career as a prosecutor, first as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of California and then as a Deputy City Attorney with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office. Mr. Tran later joined the firm of Coughlan, Semmer & Lipman LLP, where he litigated white-collar criminal defense and legal malpractice matters. Mr. Tran has tried several felony and misdemeanor jury trials and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Tran joined the Firm as an associate in 2006. Mr. Tran’s practice focuses on class action insurance, consumer fraud and antitrust litigation.
