Mitchell D. Gravo

Mitchell D. Gravo concentrates his practice in lobbying and government relations. He represents clients before the Alaska Congressional delegation, the Alaska Legislature, the Alaska State Government and the Municipality of Anchorage.

Mr. Gravo attended Ohio State University as an undergraduate before attending the University of San Diego School of Law. He came to Alaska in 1977, served briefly as an intern with the Municipality of Anchorage and then clerked a year for Superior Court Judge J. Justin Ripley. After his clerkship with Judge Ripley, he went back to the work for the Municipality of Anchorage, where he first served as the executive assistant to the Municipal Manager and then as the first lobbyist for the then Mayor of Anchorage, George M. Sullivan.

His legislative clients include the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau, UST Public Affairs, Inc., the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Alaska Seafood International, Distilled Spirits Council of America, RIM Architects, Anchorage Police Department Employees Association, Fred Meyer and the Automobile Manufacturers Association.
